The conference Evolution in Sweden will take place at EBC the 10-12 January 2023.
Evolution in Sweden is a biannual meeting, which broadly gathers evolutionary biologists working in Sweden. In 2023 the meeting will be held at Uppsala University, January 10-12.

Hans Ellegren ny ständig sekreterare för Kungl. Vetenskapsakademien
Hans Ellegren, professor i evolutionsbiologi vid Uppsala universitet. Foto/bild: Mikael Wallerstedt Hans Ellegren, professor i evolutionsbiologi vid Uppsala universitet, har valts till ny ständig sekreterare för Kungl. Vetenskapsakademien. Han efterträder Göran K. Hansson vid årsskiftet 2021–2022. Som ständig sekreterare hoppas han både kunna slå vakt om Akademiens historiska arv och se till att organisationen är aktiv här och nu.
